Yes its true. Spain have won the EURO CUP 2008. Spain have their first major trophy since 1964! Their players charge onto the pitch as their fans go ballistic in the stands. Quite simply, the best team have won the tournament, and you can't say fairer than that.
Spain made Germany look ordinary tonight, because that is exactly what they are. They've got steel, and unbelievable tenacity, but that isn't enough when you come up against a side who are so well-oiled, fluid and potent as Spain.
The Spain players run on the field and then down to the end-zone. Casillas gives Metzelder, his club teammate, a conciliatory hug, but the night and the tournament belong to Spain.
After seeing some surprising results at the 2008 European Championships, two of Europe’s, and the world’s for that matter, powerhouse countries made it through to the final, the best side won.

This is really one of the best day for all the spainsh fans as they won a major tournament after 1964!!
The Spanish players are giving Aragones the bumps! Don't kill him seconds after the finest moment of his footballing life!

Spanish Tactics for Final

Cesc Fabregas is in contention for a starting place in the Euro 2008 final after David Villa picked up an injury in the victory over Russia in Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadion.

Villa suffered a muscular problem while taking a free-kick and was replaced by Fabregas, with the Arsenal midfielder setting up two goals in the 3-0 win played during an electrical storm in the Austrian capital. Spain coach Luis Aragones admits playing with five midfielders and Fernando Torres in attack played a huge role in the victory in which Xavi, David Guiza and David Silva got the goals. 'With Cesc we had another midfielder and it was difficult to control,' said Aragones. 'I know how well he can perform, he is a great player like others in our squad.

'It's better for numbers and pressure and that is how Xavi scored his goal. The point is to make them feel free. 'Cesc is 21, he and other players have acquired the experience that you might have of an older player. 'This is something that matters for the 2008 tournament but I'm sure it will matter for the World Cup (in 2010) as well.' Fabregas added: 'I am here when the manager needs me. 'It is good, we came here to win the tournament and we got to the final, which I think is the most difficult thing. 'In the final anything can happen, a lot of things can influence the game.

'Right now we enjoy tonight, the moment, then think about the game we are waiting for.' Aragones may have been talking about the World Cup qualifiers but he refused to be drawn on his own future, and whether he will join Fenerbahce, until after the final on Sunday. And he revealed he has been getting advice from England about how difficult the Germans will be. 'Gary Lineker said that Germany can win against any team they play,' Aragones said. 'I know him because I was at Barcelona with him and he is a great guy.' Victory meant the end of the road for Guus Hiddink after guiding his Russia team to the last four, and he was satisfied with the progress his side made. 'The disappointment of tonight is in our head, but when our emotions calm down we are very proud, not just the results but the way they have played,' said the Dutchman. 'Of course after a game where we are defeated we are disappointed, that is logical. We could play with Spain for the first half and part of the second, there was still a game, but their plan to tire us led to our marking being loose in midfield so we had to run a lot. 'That is the moment they had the quality to strike.

It is a very deserved win - it's very difficult to play against a team like that who can play one-touch football. I hope they play a good final.' Hiddink also felt an extra midfielder made the difference for Spain. 'We could handle Torres and Villa in the first half okay, but with the change to a midfielder in there came more mobility,' he said. 'It is difficult to play that and control it. They also do it at a rather quick pace. You can feel it and it's a matter of time, that's their class.'

Greman tactics for final

Germans breathed a collective sigh of relief on Thursday and acknowledged how lucky their below-par soccer team had been to snatch a 3-2 win over valiant Turkey in Wednesday's Euro 2008 semi-final.

Bild, the biggest-selling tabloid, said Joachim Loew's side would have to show an improvement of at least 200 percent if they were to stand a chance against the winners of Thursday's second semi-final between Spain and Russia.

If we lumber around in the same way we did against the Turks, we'll be completely taken apart by the subtle and speedy technicians from Russia or Spain,' Bild said. Germany's biggest worry was in defence, the paper said, adding that on their current form Russia's Andrei Arshavin or Spain's Fernando Torres would destroy them. 'But up to now our team has always put in a strong performance immediately after a weak one,' it said. 'We can therefore dream. Go get the cup, lads!' Police in Dresden said a group of 20-30 black-clad aggressors had attacked three takeaway kebab shops in the eastern German city after the match, injuring two Turks, smashing windows, throwing bottles and burning a Turkish flag.

Around 2.7 million people of Turkish origin live in Germany, more than in any other country in western Europe. Elsewhere, police reported no serious incidents and said fans from both sides had celebrated together into the early hours of the morning. Around 1,700 officers were deployed in the capital Berlin and 84 people were taken into custody, police said in a statement. Forty of them were charged with minor offences and 15 people were slightly injured, including three officers. Writing in Bild, former Germany captain and coach Franz Beckenbauer said he was more and more puzzled by the German team's performances.

There was too little movement from the beginning,' he said. 'But who cares, Germany are in the final and it will definitely be a different match in Vienna on Sunday, it will have to be a different match from our point of view.' Soccer newspaper Kicker said Germany had put in 'anything but a great performance' and Stefan Kuntz, a European champion with Germany in 1996, said there would have to be a massive improvement by Sunday. 'A lucky, extremely lucky win by Germany that was not convincing but this time was kissed by luck,' Kicker said.

Superb Spain stormed into their first final in 24 years by rolling over in-form Russia at Euro 2008 in Vienna.

On another wet night in Austria, Luis Aragones' men attacked throughout and scored second-half goals through Xavi, substitute Daniel Guiza and David Silva to claim their fifth win in as many games and set up a title showdown with Germany on Sunday.

The outcome prevented the Russians, who lost 4-1 to Spain in their opening game, from making their first appearance in the final since the break-up of the Soviet Union.

Spain were on top at the Ernst Happel Stadion in the first half but had no goals to show for their efforts and, after losing the tournament's leading goalscorer David Villa to injury in the 34th minute, their prospects did not look bright.

Arsenal playmaker Cesc Fabregas, who converted the winning spot-kick to beat Italy in a penalty shootout in the quarter-final, came on and excelled just as Guiza did when he replaced Fernando Torres.

Russia coach Guus Hiddink made one change to his starting XI with Vasili Berezutski replacing suspended defender Denis Kolodin.

Spain boss Luis Aragones fielded his strongest line-up with Torres playing alongside Villa.

Spain came flying out of the traps and almost took the lead after just five minutes when Villa fed Torres inside the area but the Liverpool striker's close-range effort was parried away by goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev.

Russia meanwhile, struggled to get past the Spanish defence.

With 10 minutes played, Villa's right-footed effort from the edge of the area was saved by Akinfeev.

The Russians weathered the early storm and began to grow in confidence, with Roman Pavlyuchenko hitting a powerful strike that went straight into the hands of Spain goalkeeper Iker Casillas.

Andres Iniesta missed a golden chance to put Spain in front in the 26th minute when he was unable to control Xavi's clever pass into the area.

Casillas came to the rescue for Spain on the half-hour mark, diving full length to palm away Pavlyuchenko's curled effort from the edge of the area.

The Spanish were rocked shortly after, when star striker Villa limped off and was replaced by Fabregas.

And the Russians almost took the lead seconds later.

Pavlyuchenko chested down Ivan Saenko's cross inside the box but fired wide, much to the relief of Casillas.

But back came Spain and Ramos got past his marker before firing just wide of the near post.

Torres should have put Spain in front before half-time. Having perfectly controlled Fabregas's pass, the striker could only manage a weak effort that proved an easy save for the keeper.

Spain picked up where they left off after half-time, and their efforts were rewarded five minutes into the second half.

Xavi played in Iniesta down the left, before finishing his team-mate's cross from inside the box with a well-timed run into the box.

Torres almost made it 2-0 shortly after, with his curled angled effort from Fabregas' assist going just high over the bar.

Hiddink reacted to going a goal behind by making a double substitution with Bilyaletdinov and Vladimir Bystrov replacing Igor Semshov and Saenko.

But it was Spain who looked more dangerous.

Torres twice had the opportunity to double Spain's lead thanks to two sensational Ramos passes but the Liverpool striker could not hit the target.

Aragones made Torres pay for those mistakes as he brought on Guiza to replace him.

And the move was an inspired one as Guiza made it 2-0 in the 72nd minute.

Fabregas played in Guiza inside the area who lobbed Russia keeper Igor Akinfeev.

With Russia offering little opposition, Spain continued to surge forward and put the game beyond their rivals' reach with nine minutes remaining.

Fabregas' perfect ball found Silva inside the area, who fired past Akinfeev to start the fiesta for the Spanish fans.

With two minutes left, Russia almost got a consolation goal but Casillas made a stunning save to deny Bilyaletdinov's header from Andrei Arshavin's cross.

Philip Lahm struck a 90th-minute winner as Germany claimed the first final berth at Euro 2008 as battling Turkey's fairytale run finally came to an end at St Jakob-Park in Basel.

A much-weakened Turkey side had dominated the first half but were only level at half-time after Germany's Bastian Schweinsteiger had cancelled out Ugur Boral's opener.

The German defender creeps through the Turkish defence to slot home the winner.

The second half was a more even contest and looked to be going to extra-time after Germany striker Miroslav Klose and Semih Senturk of Turkey had each scored in the final 11 minutes.

But there was still time for Lahm to smash home the winner as three-times European champions - twice as West Germany in 1972 and 1980 - reached the final, where they will meet either Spain or Russia.

Turkey, playing in their first Euro semi-final, had captured the imaginations of the neutral after staging remarkable comeback victories in their previous three matches, but with a team ravaged by injuries and suspensions a first ever final appearance was always a tough ask.

Despite that though, the makeshift Turkish side were still quicker out of the blocks, with Germany goalkeeper Jens Lehmann needing to be alert to efforts from Colin Kazim-Richards and Hamit Altintop in the first 10 minutes.

Turkey then struck the woodwork in the 13th minute through London-born Kazim-Richards, whose rising shot crashed against the top of the crossbar from 12 yards out following Ayhan Akman's cut-back.

The Germany defence was all at sea in the opening stages, while there was little to encourage Joachim Low's side going forward either as Turkey bossed proceedings.

It was therefore not unexpected when Turkey took a deserved lead in the 22nd minute through Ugur Boral.

The chance came after Kazim-Richards had hit the Germany crossbar for the second time - this time with an effort which looped up into the air and onto the bar - and Boral slotted home the rebound, despite Lehmann's best efforts on the line.

Turkey's joy was short-lived though, as Germany equalised with their first chance of the match five minutes later through Schweinsteiger.

Lukas Podolski sent over a low cross from the left and Schweinsteiger darted in front of Mehmet Topal and with the outside of his right foot guided the ball across Recber Rustu and into the far corner of the net.

Opportunities were coming thick and fast at both ends with Semih's header saved by Lehmann, who was then almost left red-faced by Altintop's deep free-kick, which the former Arsenal goalkeeper misjudged and needed to dive backwards to tip over.

Podolski then wasted a good chance for Germany when he was put clean through by Thomas Hitzlsperger, only for the Bayern Munich man to blaze over with just Rustu to beat.

Turkey goalscorer Boral stung the knuckles of Lehmann with a free-kick before Sabri Sarioglu fired just over from distance as the underdogs finished the first half just as they started it - in total control.

At the start of the second half Germany might have had a dream start had Swiss referee Massimo Busacca whistled for a blatant foul on Lahm.

There was little doubt it was a foul and the only question was whether it was inside the Turkey area or not - but the official gave nothing.

The match was more even in the second half, with the two defences looking much less charitable than the opening period.

The ever-threatening Boral fired a rare shot at Lehmann in the 71st minute before former Aston Villa midfielder Hitzlsperger saw his left-footed effort go just wide of the top corner.

Germany took the lead through Klose in the 79th minute. Rustu looked favourite to come out and claim Lahm's lofted cross into the area, but Klose beat both the goalkeeper and Topal to the ball to send a glancing header into an unguarded net.

That might have spelt the end of some side's hopes, but Turkey had proven themselves an obstinate opponent in the three previous matches and, astonishingly, they managed to net yet another late goal.

Sabri sent over a low cross and Semih managed to poke the ball past Lehmann at his near post.

That was not the end of the drama though as Germany showed their own determination by netting a last-gasp winner through Bayern Munich full-back Lahm, who raced into the area before being picked out by Hitzlsperger and kept his composure to fire past Rustu into the near top corner.

BASEL, June 25 (Reuters) - Turkey's bid to beat Germany and reach the final of Euro 2008 is in danger of being wrecked by injuries and suspensions.

The Turkish team which faces Germany in the semi-final at St Jakob Park on Wednesday (1845 GMT) will be very different from the one that beat Croatia on penalties in Friday's quarter-final in Vienna.

Turkey will definitely be without six players and possibly more depending on how they respond to treatment before kickoff.

'Of course having lots of injured players is hard but the players who fill their places will give their utmost,' forward Semih Senturk told a news conference on Monday.

Semih scored the last gasp extra-time equaliser in the win over Croatia and said their constant comebacks in the tournament boded well.

'I think it gives us more self-confidence. Germany will be more cautious because the winner gets to the final.'

Goalkeeper Volkan Demirel, who was red carded at the end of Turkey's dramatic last-gasp 3-2 win over Czech Republic on June 15 is out, serving the second game of his two-match suspension for that offence.

Defender Emre Asik and attacking midfielders Tuncay Sanli and Arda Turan are also suspended after picking up two yellow cards each.

Forward Nihat Kahveci, who scored twice in the win over the Czechs, has flown back to Spain for an operation on the thigh he injured late in the Croatia game.

Emre Gungor is also out of the tournament through injury.

Defender Servet Cetin is very doubtful with a knee problem and Tumer Metin is just as unlikely to play because of a groin complaint.

Midfielder Emre Belozoglu, who has not played since damaging his hamstring in Turkey's Group A opening loss to Portugal, is back in light training. A decision on the captain's fitness will be made just before kickoff.

In total contrast, Germany's preparations have gone smoothly.

Coach Joachim Loew will be back in the dugout after serving a one-match ban in the stands, and unlike Turkey coach Fatih Terim he has a full complement of fit players.

Loew, who has had two spells coaching in Turkey, faces the dilemma of whether to stick with a winning team - and a devastating new formation - or go back to first principles.

With Torsten Frings injured for the quarter-final against Portugal, Loew took the bold decision to play a new 4-5-1 system with Simon Rolfes and Thomas Hitzlsperger as holding midfielders and Michael Ballack free to get forward as much as he could.

'I've always considered 4-4-2 my favourite formation but we did well with 4-5-1 against Portugal,' Loew said at a news conference on Monday.

'We just have to find the right way to unlock the Turkish defence. No matter what formation we play, it's important we get our running patterns and movement off the ball right. If we do that, the question of the formation is secondary.

19:45 UK Russia v Spain Semi-finals Ernst Happel Stadion

Spain midfielder Cesc Fabregas admits his side will need to pay special attention to Russia playmaker Andrei Arshavin when the two nations meet in the Euro 2008 semi-finals on Thursday.

Arshavin was the only player to play in all 12 of Russia's qualifying matches but a red card against Andorra meant that he was suspended for the opening two group matches in Austria and Switzerland - including his side's 4-1 defeat to Spain. Since then though the 27-year-old Zenit St Petersburg star has been busy boosting his already-impressive reputation with a series of fine displays, and he could be a key player in the semi-final against Spain. Media speculation suggests Arshavin could be a team-mate of Fabregas at Arsenal next season, but while the Spain midfielder admits he was formerly in the dark about his upcoming opponent's talents, that is no longer the case. 'I saw him (against Holland), he's a good player. I didn't know him before but he looks good so we have to be careful,' Fabregas said. Fabregas was talking after slotting home the winning spot-kick in his side's 4-2 penalty shoot-out win over Italy in Vienna, a result that sent Spain through to the last four. The 21-year-old is anything but a regular penalty taker for club or country but he fired past Gianluigi Buffon with aplomb to earn Spain their first competitive win over Italy since 1920. Talking about his successful kick, Fabregas said: 'The goal became a bit small when I looked up but fortunately for me I scored. 'It was the winning one, but if my team-mates hadn't scored before and if (Iker) Casillas didn't save two it could have been different.' Fabregas and his Spain team-mates will now turn their focus to the Russians as they look to move a step closer to their first European Championship win since 1964. Spain recorded a heavy victory over Russia in their opening group match, but Fabregas - who scored his side's final goal after David Villa had struck a hat-trick - knows things are unlikely to be as comfortable this time. 'We know it will be a completely different game. They have quality, they are competitive, young, and I think it will be very very tough,' he said.

Spain reached the semi-finals of Euro 2008 after a penalty shoot-out victory over world champions Italy at the Ernst-Happel Stadium.

Italy 'keeper Gianluigi Buffon watches on as the post comes to his rescue.

Iker Casillas saved spot-kicks from Daniele De Rossi and Antonio Di Natale after a goalless 120 minutes before Cesc Fabregas slid the winning penalty past Gianluigi Buffon.

Cassillas, who had kept his side on level terms with a fine save with his feet from Mauro Camoranesi, helped Spain end a string of three straight penalty shoot-out defeats on June 22 in major tournaments - in the 1986 World Cup, Euro 96 and the 2002 World Cup.

Luis Aragones' men are the only team in the last four to have won all of their games in the tournament and now take on surprise package Russia on Thursday in Vienna.

Italy won the 2006 World Cup on penalties against France but Buffon - the hero that day - was overshadowed by the impressive Casillas this time.

The Italy keeper had kept his side in the competition in the group stages when he saved Adrian Mutu's spot-kick against Romania and threatened to do so again when he denied Daniel Guiza with Spain's fourth penalty.

But Casillas, who had already flung himself to his right to palm away De Rossi's effort, then kept out Di Natale's weak effort to hand the advantage back to Spain.

And Arsenal youngster Fabregas kept his cool to send Buffon the wrong way and give his side a 4-2 shoot-out win.

Having rested all but one of his regulars in their 2-1 triumph against Greece, Spain coach Luis Aragones lined up his strongest team, with tournament top scorer David Villa playing alongside Fernando Torres in attack.

The absence of Andrea Pirlo hindered the Azzurri, who missed the magic touch of the AC Milan playmaker.

Spain dominated possession in the early stages and had the first chance in the eighth minute with David Silva playing a one-two with Villa before his shot took a deflection from Daniele De Rossi and went straight to the hands of goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon.

Torres wasted a good chance to break the deadlock in the 17th minute when his cross was way off target with Villa and Xavi waiting in the box.

Italy finally had their first effort on goal in the 18th minute, with Simone Perrotta latching onto Massimo Ambrosini's cross but his header proved an easy catch for Casillas.

Midway through the first half Villa's powerful free-kick towards the far post forced Buffon into action.

Buffon's next save was all the more impressive as he was forced to fully stretch to save Silva's left-footed strike from the edge of the area on the half-hour mark.

Luca Toni should have broken the deadlock shortly after but his header from Antonio Cassano's cross hit Carlos Marchena.

Spanish fans demanded a penalty after Fabio Grosso brought down Silva but the referee did well to play on as the tackle happened just outside the area.

Villa then set up Xavi, who fired wide in what was the last chance of an uninspiring opening half.

Spain picked up where they left off after the re-start and Giorgio Chiellini made a crucial tackle inside the area on Silva who tried to punish the Italians for a defensive error.

Villa then wasted a good chance when his cross went off target with Torres waiting in the box.

Donadoni made his first substitution before the hour mark, with Mauro Camoranesi replacing Perrotta in an attempt to give the Azzurri a spark up front.

Aragones replied by sending on Santi Cazorla and Fabregas for Xavi and Iniesta.

Italy had the best chance in the 62nd minute with Camoranesi's close-range strike forcing Casillas to make a desperate foot clearance after confusion in the box.

Marcos Senna warmed the hands of Buffon with a stinging free-kick with 11 minutes remaining.

Soon after, Buffon tried to collect a shot from Silva but the ball bounced out of his grasp. The goalkeeper scrambled toward the goalline to get the ball and fortunately, it struck the post before staying out.

Aragones made his last substitution with five minutes remaining in regular time with Daniel Guiza replacing Torres.

Zambrotta made a vital clearance with Villa ready to hit the target from Fabregas' brilliant cross, but there was no way of avoiding extra time.

Silva fired inches wide after Chiellini had blocked Fabregas' powerful strike inside the area after the re-start.

Italy kept up the pressure and twice had the chance to break the deadlock.

Casillas made an acrobatic save from Di Natale's close-range header while Toni nodded the ball over the crossbar as the Azzurri got closer.

Buffon was forced to come off his line to clear Villa's close-range effort while Cazorla fired wide instead of passing to the unmarked Villa at the far post as penalties were required.

MEDiEVAL has released another DVD screener, upcoming new TNT show Leverage. The series follows a team of thieves, hackers and grifters who act as modern-day Robin Hoods, taking revenge against those who use power and wealth to victimize others. Skipping through I does seem to be almost like the ‘American version’ of the British show Hustle, it has very much the same feel to it with both the characters and the music. I did also notice there is a British actress in this show, Gina Bellman who starred as Jane in the UK TV show Coupling.

Show Summary
Timothy Hutton plays former insurance investigator Nate Ford, a once-loyal corporate employee who had recovered millions of dollars in stolen goods for his employer. But when that employer denied his son’s insurance claims and allowed the boy to die, he realized he could no longer work for such an entity.

Out of work and descending into alcoholism, Ford is hired by an aeronautics executive to recover airplane designs the executive claims were stolen by a rival company. Helping him are four highly skilled team members: Parker (Beth Riesgraf, Alvin and the Chipmunks), an expert thief; Alex Hardison (Aldis Hodge, “Friday Night Lights”), a specialist in Internet and computer fraud; Eliot Spencer (Christian Kane, “Into the West”), a high-octane “retrieval specialist” who can take out a gang of henchmen without breaking a sweat; and Sophie Devereaux (Gina Bellman, “Coupling”), a grifter who could win awards for her acting skills during difficult scams. At first the newly formed team is hesitant to trust each other after so many years working alone but being double-crossed changes the dynamic, ultimately forcing them to unite. They emerge from the job realizing they are far better working together than apart. Once they discover they can trust each other the group targets their cons toward the richest, the greediest and the most unjust.

VIENNA, June 20 (Reuters) - Turkey beat Croatia 3-1 on penalties after their Euro 2008 quarter-final finished 1-1 following extra time on Friday.

Turkey will meet Germany, who beat Portugal 3-2 on Thursday, in the first semi in Basel on Wednesday.

Extra time had finished in dramatic fashion with two goals in the last minute.

Ivan Klasnic headed Croatia in front at the near post after a good run and cross by Luka Modric in the 119th minute.

But there was still time for comeback kings Turkey, who twice rallied from behind to win in the group stages, to equalise in breathtaking style as Semih Senturk's left-foot shot took a wicked deflection to beat Stipe Pletikosa.

Overall the Croatians had the better of the chances with Turkey weakened by a string of injuries plus suspensions to keeper Volkan Demirel and defender Mehmet Aurelio.

The Turks struggled at first with Croatia's pace and movement, only really threatening early in the match.

The opening chance came in the fifth minute when Turkey playmaker Hamit Altintop's low drive from 25 metres flew wide.

Slaven Bilic's Croatia soon found their stride and repeatedly managed to get in behind the Turkish defence on the flanks through clever passing.

One such occasion led to the best opportunity of the half in the 19th minute when Luka Modric's low cross found striker Ivica Olic close in but his sliding effort rattled the bar under pressure from keeper Rustu Recber.

Niko Kranjcar then headed the rebound over to the anguish of the Croatian contingent of fans inside the noisy Ernst Happel Stadium, where several flares were lit during the game.

Mehmet Topal sent a 30-metre piledriver just wide towards the end of the first period in a rare effort for the Turks.

Croatia went close at the start of the second half when Gokhan Zan's weak back header let in Olic, who nodded over Rustu but failed to add the finishing touch with two defenders on the line.

Olic had two more chances and Darijo Srna forced Rustu into two saves from free kicks late in the 90 minutes but Turkey hung on to take the game into extra time during which substitute Semih Senturk shot over and Tuncay Sanli fired narrowly wide.

All eyes may have been on Cristiano Ronaldo but it was his opposite number seven Bastian Schweinsteiger who stole the show to book Germany's place in the Euro 2008 semi-finals and dump Portugal out.

The German players celebrate their win.

Bayern Munich star Schweinsteiger scored one and set up two more - for Miroslav Klose and Michael Ballack - to render Nuno Gomes' effort at the end of the first half and substitute Helder Postiga's goal towards full-time little more than consolations.

The result sees Germany, who only clinched their spot in the quarter-finals with a 1-0 win over Austria on Monday, advance to a last-four clash with either Croatia or Turkey next Wednesday.

It also brings Luiz Felipe Scolari's five-year reign as Portugal coach to an inglorious end before he heads off to become Chelsea manager on July 1.

Joachim Low, unable to sit in the Germany dugout due to the one-match ban imposed following his touchline bust-up with Austria coach Josef Hickersberger in the last group match, made three changes to his starting XI.

Schweinsteiger - back after suspension - Thomas Hitzlsperger and Simon Rolfes came into the line-up with Clemens Fritz, Mario Gomez and rib injury victim Torsten Frings missing out.

Scolari stuck to his pre-match word and named the same starting XI which beat the Czech Republic and Turkey to win Group A for this match on the newly-laid turf at Basle's St Jakob-Park.

Low's team, under the temporary guidance of his assistant Hans-Dieter Flick, controlled the tempo and bossed the possession in the early stages.

Hitzlsperger had the first shot with a ninth-minute free-kick but Deco blocked it, and the Stuttgart midfielder lashed another left-footed effort goalwards moments later which rippled Ricardo's side-netting.

Simao made Jens Lehmann work for the first time just before the quarter-hour mark when he found himself well placed on the right-hand side of the area following good build-up play from Pepe and Deco, but the former Arsenal stopper was equal to the Atletico Madrid winger's effort.

Gomes then looked to put Cristiano Ronaldo through but Arne Friedrich got across swiftly at the expense of a corner.

Jose Bosingwa fired in a cross from the left towards Joao Moutinho but it arrived at an awkward height for the Sporting Lisbon midfielder, who ended up diverting the ball over the bar with his thigh.

That miss proved costly as shortly afterwards the Germans forged ahead.

Podolski, who had been doubtful with a calf injury, burst down the left and sent in a dangerous low cross which Schweinsteiger tapped home at the near post in the 22nd minute.

Four minutes later, Germany doubled their advantage when man of the match Schweinsteiger floated in a free-kick and Klose glanced a tidy header past Ricardo.

Portugal then suffered a further blow when Moutinho hobbled off with a knee injury, to be replaced by Raul Meireles.

Ronaldo and Simao combined well just after the half-hour to force Per Mertesacker into a scrambled clearance, but the initially shell-shocked Portuguese were beginning to find their feet again.

Gomes picked a fine time to bag his first goal of the tournament to halve the deficit in the 40th minute, reacting first to fire into the bottom-left corner via the right boot of Christoph Metzelder after Lehmann had parried a Ronaldo blast.

Germany almost immediately restored their two-goal cushion when Ballack cut in well from the left onto his right foot, but Ricardo got down well at his near post to save.

Ronaldo then had an opportunity to level matters in first-half stoppage time, only to see his effort drift just wide of Lehmann's right-hand upright.

Friedrich and Philipp Lahm were both shown yellow cards in the opening minutes of the second half for lunges on Ronaldo and Simao respectively.

Hitzlsperger had a sight of goal five minutes after the restart but lashed his left-footed strike wildly over the top.

Pepe then passed up a great chance to restore parity when he headed over in the 57th minute after Deco had flicked on a corner.

Once again, the Portuguese immediately paid for their profligacy when Ballack met Schweinsteiger's free-kick from the left and - with the help of a shove in the back of his Chelsea team-mate Paulo Ferreira - made space to head past Ricardo.

Scolari threw attackers Nani and Postiga into the fray in a bid to turn the match around, but the Portuguese were struggling to test Lehmann.

Podolski almost made it 4-1 12 minutes from time when his fierce long-range drive whizzed just past the right-hand post with Ricardo merely an onlooker.

Nani then set up fellow substitute Postiga to head home a second and give Portugal hope.

But there was to be no grand finale for Portugal and Scolari, as Germany - even without their coach on the touchline - held on.

Andrei Arshavin returned from suspension to earn Russia a place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 with victory over Sweden in Innsbruck.

Russia celebrate Pavlyuchenko's second goal.

Sweden only needed a point themselves but had no answer to the Zenit St Petersburg playmaker, with Dutchman Guus Hiddink now set to face Holland on Saturday after guiding Russia out of Group D.

Roman Pavlyuchenko opened the scoring at Stadion Tivoli Neu before Arshavin sealed the win Russia required after the break.

Since starting to compete as Russia, in 1992, it is the first time they have been out of the group stages of a major tournament.

A banner among the Russia fans read "Home Swede Home - Goodbye Sweden'', and Hiddink's men set off looking like they wanted victory wrapped up by half-time.

This was the type of attacking performance that saw England gripped by panic at the Luzhniki Stadium last October when the cracks of Steve McClaren's reign started to open up.

Pavlyuchenko led to England's downfall that night and he tested Olof Mellberg and his fellow Swedish defenders just as he did against Sol Campbell and Rio Ferdinand.

However, the creative force was just behind the Spartak Moscow striker, with Arshavin playing in the hole and causing problems with the angles of his runs and passes.

Arshavin, who has been linked with Manchester City and Newcastle, had been banned for two matches of the finals after he was dismissed in the final qualifier for kicking out. With their attack bolstered, Russia made all the early running.

Had Konstantin Zyryanov not positioned himself in the way of team-mate Igor Semshov after Diniyar Bilyaletdinov opened up Sweden with a flick, Russia would have had a clear sight of goal in the early stages.

Then Arshavin took centre stage, heading wide from Aleksandr Anyukov's cross from the right and finding himself in a similar position when Pavlyuchenko crossed low from the same flank. Neither finishes got enough purchase.

He then went wide from long range and almost embarrassed Andreas Isaksson when he sliced a cross to the far post and the Manchester City goalkeeper was back just in time to tip over.

From the resulting corner, Yuri Zhirkov fizzed a volley just wide.

Predictably, Arshavin started the move when Russia took the lead in the 24th minute, his ball down the right weighted perfectly for Zyryanov.

The ball was shifted inside to Anyukov and again to Pavlyuchenko, who provided a cool finish despite Fredrik Stoor's last-ditch slide. With the quarter-finals in sight, Hiddink punched the air in celebration, unleashing two upper cuts.

Russia were rampant but Sweden offered a reminder of their threat when Henrik Larsson looped a header onto the frame of the goal.

Just before the break Freddie Ljungberg forced a save when he latched onto Zlatan Ibrahimovic's flick, while Mikael Nilsson also tested Igor Akinfeev when he raced through.

But it was Russia who were providing sustained pressure.

Pavlyuchenko struck the woodwork 10 minutes before the break and Zyryanov saw the rebound clawed away by Isaksson. Bilyaletdinov also wasted chances to extend the lead.

The second goal came in the 50th minute following another sweeping move. Russia went from defence to attack in seconds, culminating with Arshavin sliding in to finish off Zhirkov's cross, then racing off and celebrating with a Jose Mourinho-style "shhhh''.

Sweden refused to throw in the towel and they pushed players forward when Russia were not creating attacks. Mellberg had a decent chance but headed over from a corner.

Russia also threatened to add more goals, and Zyryanov struck the post with 10 minutes remaining. The only sour note for Arshavin was a booking for a trip.

Dani Guiza headed home a late winner as a second-string Spain side battled back from a goal down in Salzburg to leave deposed European champions Greece without a point in Euro 2008.

Alonso drives a shot on goal from range

Angelos Charisteas had given Greece a half-time lead, but second-half goals from Ruben De la Red and Guiza helped Group D winners Spain extend their unbeaten run to 19 matches ahead of their quarter-final showdown against Italy.

Respective coaches Luis Aragones of Spain and Greece's Otto Rehhagel rang the changes for the match at the Stadion Salzburg Wals-Siezenheim, which had little riding on it other than match practice for one team and pride for the other.

Aragones, as expected, brought in 10 newcomers to the team that had been unchanged for the victories over Russia and Sweden, with Andres Iniesta the only player to have started all three group games.

For Greece, Rehhagel opted only to bring in four new faces to the side that lost to Russia last time out, and kept faith with retiring goalkeeper Antonis Nikopolidis, who was making his 90th and last appearance for his country.

With Cesc Fabregas heavily involved, Spain looked the more dangerous of the two sides in the opening stages, but after a few nervous early moments the Greece defence coped fairly comfortably with the group winners' attacks.

The closest either side came to a goal in the opening 30 minutes was through a spectacular effort from inside the centre circle by Spain's stand-in captain Xabi Alonso.

The midfielder has famously scored from inside his own half for Liverpool and he almost repeated the feat here, his effort going inches wide of the top corner with the backpedalling Nikopolidis badly struggling before colliding painfully with the woodwork.

Alonso's long-range shooting was looking Spain's best threat at that stage, with the 26-year-old curling another couple of efforts just wide of Nikopolidis' left-hand post.

Greece's attacking threat was limited mainly to dead-ball situations in the first half, and it appeared as though there was going to be little to worry Jose Reina in the Spanish goal as the match drifted towards half-time.

However, that was all to change in the 42nd minute when Greece took the lead against the run of play through Charisteas.

The goal stemmed from a free-kick out on the left touchline, which was curled into the box by Giorgos Karagounis and Charisteas escaped his marker to send a thumping header past Reina.

Spain could not claim to be unaware of the danger posed by Charisteas though, as the big centre-forward also scored the goal when the two nations drew 1-1 during the group of stages of Euro 2004, a tournament Greece would famously go on to win.

Aragones opted against bringing any of his big guns on at the break, and he was almost rewarded for his continued faith in his fringe players when Alonso came close to equalising in the 54th minute.

Once again showing his prowess from distance, the skipper unleashed a 30-yard thunderbolt which crashed against the inside of the post before flying across the face of the goal.

Spain did not have to wait much longer to get back on level terms though, with De la Red blasting home his side's leveller from 15 yards out.

An Alonso chip into the area was nodded back by Guiza and De la Red was on hand to send an unstoppable shot past Nikopolidis, who got his hand to the ball but could do nothing to keep it out.

Spain's joy very nearly turned to despair three minutes later however as Charisteas broke into the area and skipped past Reina, but he could only hit the outside of the post from a tight angle.

After Guiza, De la Red and Garcia failed to make the most of decent openings, Guiza - La Liga's leading scorer last season - got it right.

With just two minutes remaining he got on the end of Garcia's far-post cross to thump a header past Nikopolidis, giving Spain their second successive last-gasp win following their 2-1 triumph over Sweden.

After several beta releases and a planned bid for the Guinness Book of World Records, Firefox 3.0 has arrived. As of 1pm EDT Tuesday, users can download the latest version of the open-source browser, which includes an improved book marking system and drop-down search returns in the URL bar, among other features. Aesthetically, the browser is not drastically different from its predecessor. The forward and back buttons have been altered, while the browser buttons and window frames have also been redesigned to conform to the look of a user’s operating system, but not much else has changed. On the features front, the drop-down URL bar—dubbed the Awesome Bar—offers suggestions of possible Web sites as you type your search query.

Version three offers a three-tier bookmarking system: bookmark stars allow for one-click favorites; bookmark tags allow you to add details to your favorites; and bookmark folders are saved searches that update when you add new items matching that search to your bookmarks, according to Mozilla. Download manager has also been revamped and now includes the ability to pause and resume downloads, search through downloaded files, obtain more detailed file information, and revisit the original download page. Firefox 3.0 also boasts improved color profiles, font and text rendering, and zooming capabilities, as well as malware and phishing protection, Mozilla said.

Version 3.0 is three years in the making. Mozilla released the first beta version of Firefox 3.0 in November 2007, with version two debuting a month later. Beta 3.0 version 3 arrived in February with major code rewrites of the page layout, graphics, and font engines and over 350 plugged memory leaks. Most recently, Mozilla on June 5 unveiled the second release candidate for Firefox 3 with several localization updates. That came a little over two weeks after RC1 was made available. When the download goes live on Tuesday, the clock will start ticking on Mozilla’s bid to break a Guinness world record for most downloads in a single day. Mozilla said last week on its blog that it has already received at least one million pledges from users who say they will download Firefox 3 on release day.

Update: the final version of Firefox 3 is out now for more than 20 minutes, but it’s basically impossible to get it at the moment - all download servers are overloaded with thousands of requests and the official website for Download day times out for few hours already. We will bring you first mirrors in comments when they’re available, feel free to check 10 Reasons why you should update in the meantime.

ERNE, June 17 (Reuters) - Second-half goals from Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Robin van Persie gave Netherlands a 2-0 win over Romania at Euro 2008 on Tuesday.

Romania's Mutu takes to the sky

Huntelaar sidefooted home in the 54th minute from a right-wing cross by Ibrahim Afellay.

Van Persie then made sure of victory with a fierce left-foot drive into the roof of the net with three minutes to go.

The Dutch finished with a 100 percent record at the top of Group C and will play Sweden or Russia in the quarter-finals.

Romania needed to beat the Dutch to reach the last eight but after gritty and determined draws against the world champions and France earlier in the tournament, Victor Piturca's side lacked imagination and creativity against a Dutch side showing nine changes.

A poor first half ended scoreless with a nervous and edgy Romania forced to shoot from long range.

Captain Cristian Chivu fired over a free kick in a good central position after nine minutes before Adrian Mutu and Gabriel Tamas went close with 25-metre drives.

Arjen Robben should have snatched the lead for the Dutch in the 36th minute when he latched on to a through ball from Huntelaar but slipped the ball wide from six metres with only the keeper to beat.

Van Persie also had a good second-half opportunity when he turned defender Sorin Ghionea inside out before his shot was parried away superbly by an outstretched Bogdan Lobont in the Romania goal.

Italy beat 10-man France at Zurich's sold-out Letzigrund stadium to advance to the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 thanks to Holland's win over Romania.

Andrea Pirlo put the world champions in front in the 25th minute when converting from the penalty spot after Eric Abidal had brought down Luca Toni inside the area.

Franck Ribery is down in a heap after injuring himself early in the first half.

Abidal was shown a straight red card, leaving the French with a mountain to climb following the earlier loss of Franck Ribery to injury.

Italy led but were still made to sweat before Daniele De Rossi's 62nd minute free-kick took a deflection off Thierry Henry and struck the back of the net.

The turn of events completed a terrible tournament for Les Bleus, who were held to goalless draw against Romania in their Group C opener before being hammered 4-1 by Holland.

Italy, who finish second behind the Dutch in their pool, take on Group D winners Spain on Sunday in Vienna but the Azzurri will have to do without key players Pirlo and Gennaro Gattuso, both of who were booked tonight earning suspensions.

France coach Raymond Domenech dropped captain Lilian Thuram, who looked sluggish against Holland, with Abidal taking his spot in defence. But the move backfired.

France did have the better start, earning two corners in the opening minutes but it was Italy who should have taken the lead when Toni failed to capitalise on Abidal's poor clearance and fired wide of the near post.

Domenech was forced to make his first substitution shortly after when Ribery sustained a left ankle injury and had to be stretchered off the pitch, with Samir Nasri taking his place.

Claude Makelele was then needed to make a vital clearance at the far post from Christian Panucci's close-range header as Italy got closer.

Karen Benzema's powerful strike from the edge of the area went inches wide of Gianluigi Buffon's near post and in the 21st minute, Pirlo played a one-two with Antonio Cassano before playing a wonderful ball inside the box to Simone Perrotta, who was unable to control the pass.

Disaster struck for Les Bleus seconds later.

Slovakian referee Lubos Michel pointed to the penalty spot and Pirlo coolly struck to the top hand corner.

The Italians made sure to impose their numerical superiority after Abidal's sending off and should have extended their lead by the half-hour mark but Toni wasted three good chances, much to the relief of the French fans.

The Azzurri's failure to capitalise on their opportunities could have cost them dearly as, shortly after, France almost equalised.

Jeremy Toulalan's precise pass found Thierry Henry, who surged inside the area before firing inches wide of the far post.

France keeper Gregory Coupet then provided a stunning save to deflect Fabio Grosso's free-kick onto his far post.

France did not give up but although they showed plenty of character, they failed to find the finishing touch to level the score before half-time.

Les Bleus picked up where they left off after the re-start and Benzema fired wide off the far post before Henry's effort forced Buffon to dive to his left.

News that Holland had taken the lead in the other group game in Bern reverberated around the stadium.

But it failed to inspire the Azzurri, who had mustered little after the break and were lucky to extend their lead in the 62nd minute.

De Rossi's free-kick saw the ball deflect off Henry's left foot and deceive Coupet, who had dived towards the right post and into the back of the net.

France could have got back into the game in the 73rd minute but Buffon made a stunning one-handed save to deny Benzema's curled effort.

Despite their opponents' brave attempts, Italy held on for a crucial victory

The remaining contestants try their best to compete and gather information, but must remain ever-watchful for signs of possible sabotage from the one mole amongst them. They are sent to the Santiago Metropolitan Park where they are split into a challenge with two possible outcomes -- the entire team winning money or two players receiving an exemption. During this task, all players are tested to their physical limits while doing their best to maintain their mental game as well. Later, the contestants pay a visit to Pomaire where they face a challenge that requires them to "make pigs fly." Nancy has relocated to the border in search of a new life but she soon finds her past to be inescapable. Both problems and people follow her on her journey, but some have finally been left behind.

Ivan Klasnic's second-half goal made it three wins out of three for Group B winners Croatia and in the process ensured an early tournament exit for Poland.

A tearful Ivan Klasnic celebrates his winning goal.

Klasnic struck in the 52nd minute to earn a much-changed Croatia a deserved victory and continues their impressive start to the tournament, which has also included triumphs over Austria and Germany and will next see them take on Turkey in the last eight.

For Poland the unlikely task of claiming a quarter-final spot proved mission impossible.

Needing a win and a favourable result from the Austria-Germany game to continue their adventure in their first European Championship finals, they could find no way through against an impressive Croatia.

Leo Beenhakker's side enjoyed a promising start and Mariusz Lewandowski and Dariusz Dudka both should have done better after winning headers from corners, with neither testing Vedran Runje in the Croatia goal.

However, it was pretty much all Croatia after that in terms of goalscoring chances in the opening 45 minutes, with Slaven Bilic's new-look side getting in behind the Polish defence on a number of occasions.

The first time came in the 14th minute when Danijel Pranjic was played through by Klasnic, but the left-back's attempted chip over Poland goalkeeper Artur Boruc drifted harmlessly across goal.

Bilic's side went much closer with their next opportunity, when Hrvoje Vejic's glancing header from an Ivan Rakitic free-kick bounced just past the far post with Boruc a helpless bystander.

Boruc was needed to save his side in the 31st minute though when Klasnic was played in on the edge of the area, and the Celtic goalkeeper did well to come out and block the Werder Bremen striker's shot.

Croatia, who were wearing black armbands in tribute to the 20-year-old fan who died of a heart-attack prior to their game here against Germany, were starting to look increasingly dangerous and Boruc again did well to deny Rakitic and Pranjic after the Polish defence had twice been breached down their right-hand side.

The Balkan nation continued to push for the opener right up to the break and Jerko Leko sent a low 25-yard shot fizzing just wide of Boruc's right post, before the Polish number one did superbly to save from Klasnic on the stroke of half-time following another one-on-one with the Croatia hitman.

Croatia may not have got the breakthrough their play deserved in the first period, but they needed just seven minutes of the second half to take the lead.

The goal involved two of the game's most impressive performers, with full-back Pranjic racing onto a loose ball on the edge of the Poland area before cutting a pass back to Klasnic, who slotted home first time low to Boruc's left.

With Germany also taking an early second-half lead in Vienna, Klasnic's strike all but signalled the end of Poland's slim qualification hopes but they continued to battle and the hard-working Jacek Krzynowek fired in an effort that went wide of the far post.

At the other end Pranjic almost caught Boruc out with a cross that landed on the top of the crossbar, before Poland had arguably their best effort up to that point through Roger Guerreiro.

The Brazilian-born forward picked up possession inside the Croatia area, but his low shot in the turn beat everything - including the far post.

Guerreiro, who has impressed for Poland in this tournament, caused more problems for the Croatia defence in the 68th minute when his far-post cross picked out Marek Saganowski, but the Southampton player's downward header was well held by Runje.

Poland's defence were given a boost with 17 minutes remaining when Bilic opted to replace the dangerous strike pairing of Klasnic and Mladen Petric, but that did little to help Beenhakker's men at the other end of the field.

Polish substitute Ebi Smolarek had two decent efforts for his side in the closing stages but neither were on target, before Tomasz Zahorski missed a gilt-edged chance in the 88th minute when, after going clean through, he was denied by the feet of Runje as Croatia held on for the win.

Michael Ballack booked Germany's place in the quarter-finals of Euro 2008 after his thunderbolt free-kick earned victory in a hot-tempered clash against co-hosts Austria.

Coaches Joachim Loew and Hickersperger are joined in being banished to the stands.

The Chelsea midfielder has been unhappy with his performances in the tournament so far but returned to the form of the last six months of the domestic season, lashing into the top corner just after the break at Vienna's Ernst Happel Stadium.

It sets up a last-eight clash against his new club boss Luiz Felipe Scolari, who will fulfil his Portugal duties before being unveiled at Stamford Bridge later this summer.

Ballack's national coach, however, may not be in the dressing room at Basel's St Jakob-Park on Thursday.

Joachim Low, along with Austria counterpart Josef Hickersberger, were sent to the stands four minutes before the break after bickering among themselves and with the fourth official. UEFA are likely to review the incident, with dismissals normally carrying a touchline ban.

It was one flashpoint in a match full of needle, with confrontations dotted around the pitch to produce another clash to add to the rich history in the fixture between the neighbouring countries.

Meeting Germany has sparked the country's interest in the tournament they are co-hosting, not long after an online petition from Austrians objecting to such a poor national team taking part.

Around Vienna there were supporters in 'Cordoba' t-shirts, urging Austria to repeat what they managed in Argentina at the 1978 World Cup by upsetting the odds and sending Germany home early.

After pushing Croatia all the way and earning a point against Poland, there was genuine hope of Austria getting the win they needed - this was never going to be a repeat of the farce of 1982 when these two countries strolled around to 'conveniently' knock Algeria out of the World Cup.

Such was the belief in Austria, one newspaper's front page super-imposed Ballack's head onto a naked body, with the headline urging Hickersberger's men to 'rip their trousers off'.

Over the page there was a plane ticket home for Ballack to get back to Germany - but he will be staying for at least another few days.

Their path to the last eight would have been clearer had Mario Gomez not wasted an open goal earlier on.

Gomez's blunder came in the fifth minute after Miroslav Klose had composed himself in the area and crossed to present the chance to his strike partner.

The Stuttgart forward would not have been given an easier opportunity in his career but he spooned his finish, allowing just enough time for Gyorgy Garics to get back and head off his own line.

After weathering the storm from Germany, Austria created danger of their own.

Erwin 'Jimmy' Hoffer, an unused substitute in Austria's first two games, had a penalty appeal turned down when Christoph Metzelder wrestled with him in the area.

Then Hoffer's touch betrayed him when Martin Harnik crossed to find him beyond Germany's defence.

The game was always close to boiling over, and Lukas Podolski went down after an off-the-ball clash with Rene Aufhauser, then went eyeball to eyeball with Emanuel Pogatetz.

The constant bickering on the sidelines got the coaches dismissed just before the break, with Low picking up his blazer and heading for the stands as if sent out of class.

From his seat with the German Chancellor Angela Merkel and the other VIPs, Low watched Ballack open the scoring four minutes after the break, after Andreas Ivanschitz had fouled Philipp Lahm 25 yards from goal.

Goalkeepers have complained about balls moving in the air too much but Ballack's free-kick was pure power and was still rising as it hit the top corner.

Despite belying their position of 92nd in the FIFA world rankings, Austria's campaign then ran out of steam, with Germany surviving the couple of late scares to progress.

Germany, needing to avoid defeat to stay in the tournament, looked nervous in the first half but Ballack's strike from 25 metres at the start of the second changed the game and took them through as Group B runners-up behind Croatia.

They will go on to face Group A winners Portugal in Basel on Thursday.

Austria, needing a win to stand a chance of going through, gave Germany a few nervous moments, particularly in a first half that ended with the two coaches sent to the stands by the referee after an argument between the two of them at pitchside.

Germany should have given themselves the perfect start, and silenced the majority of the 51,000 home crowd, when Miroslav Klose ran through the Austrian defence on the right of the area and crossed low for Mario Gomez.

The German forward was just a metre out with an open goal but he mishit his shot, the ball flew up high and Gyorgy Garics headed it back off the line.

Austria's game plan focused on hitting Germany on the break and the tactic almost paid off in the 19th minute when Erwin Hoffer was put through on goal, only for his control to let him down, giving Jens Lehmann the chance to gather.

Germany's only other good first-half chance came when Lukas Podolski let fly from the edge of the area and forced a good save from Juergen Macho, at full stretch low to his left.

Ballack's free kick, belted right-footed into the top corner, should have given Germany the chance to pick off Austria on the break but they remained cautious.

Austria, however, were short of ideas themselves and well before the end they were reduced to taking pot shots mainly from outside the area.

On The Doll is one of the BEST drama movies I watched. Released by Intimid. This movie is directed & written by Thomas Mignone. He is a very good director. You can download directors commentary with alternative ending here. So shocking and terrifying…“Show me ‘On The Doll’ where he touched you…” is a movie that you will watch without moving away from your screens. I don’t recommend it to those with weak hearts… because this movie is filled with violence and pain… but it’s like a real life story… because those things happen. This move got a middle score on IMDb but on RT is not yet rated. Download video sample for quality check.

PLOT: On The Doll is a story of the victims of child abuse, and the pain it visits upon their later lives. With interweaving stories following victims and victimizers, the film depicts the variety of experiences of abuse. Utilizing a young cast of up and coming actors including Brittany Snow and Josh Janowicz, the characters wander through their disaffected lives searching for meaning, while falling into patterns that lead to more pain. The first feature by acclaimed music video director Thomas Mignone, On The Doll is beautifully shot yet emotionally wrenching, and sure to hit a powerful chord in its viewers.

Vairox Free Image HostHere comes the third CAM release of The Happening within the last three days. I don’t want to be writing too much about this movie, as it already has been the previous two times (so the plot is gonna be copy-pasted). The quality? Check it out for yourself. Not a dupe, as this release has got other subs than the nDn release. Me? I prefer waiting for a more watchable/audible release, DVD perhaps? Enjoy.

BASEL, June 15 (Reuters) - Switzerland notched their first win at a European Championship finals when it least mattered by beating a second-string side from Euro 2008 quarter-finalists Portugal 2-0 on Sunday.

Hakan Yakin
Hakan Yakin scores the perfect penalty

Hakan Yakin scored both goals, firing home in the 71st minute when he was set up by fellow striker Eren Derdiyok and then converting an 83rd minute penalty.

The commitment showed by Portugal's reserves, looking to win a place in Luiz Felipe Scolari's first team, and the eliminated Swiss belied the fact that the result would not alter the Group A standings.

The Swiss had the first real scare in the 18th minute when a free kick by Nani from outside the box was touched on by central defender Pepe and goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuehler could only turn the ball upwards on to the angle of bar and post.

Ricardo, one of only three first-choice Portugal players to start the match, tipped a shot from Gokhan Inler over his bar and close to halftime dived to his left to push out a header by Yakin.

Helder Postiga should have scored when Nani robbed Inler on the left and crossed from deep but the striker's shot was blocked by Philippe Senderos on the line.

Postiga also had the ball in the net but was unlucky to be ruled offside.

Nani hit the near post in the 53rd minute from the left when he ran on to Rau Meireles's fine pass from deep.

Yakin broke the deadlock when Derdiyok's telling pass eluded Pepe and left him with only keeper Ricardo to beat from point blank range.

He put the game beyond doubt from the spot after Meira brought down Swiss substitute Tranquillo Barnetta.

Nihat Kahveci scored twice in a dramatic final four minutes to earn Turkey second spot in Group A and a quarter-final clash with Croatia after a Euro 2008 thriller in Geneva.

Nihat
Nihat scores his amazing late winning goal

The Czechs looked home and dry in the 61st minute when Jaroslav Plasil added to Jan Koller's first-half opener to put his team 2-0 ahead.

But in an amazing end to the winner-takes-all match, Arda Turan halved the deficit in the 75th minute before Nihat came to the party.

The Turkey captain drew the sides level in the 86th minute when he took advantage of a ghastly error by Czech goalkeeper Petr Cech to poke home into an empty net.

And the Villarreal striker sparked delirium among the Turkish fans when he curled home an unstoppable winner with two minutes remaining.

There was still time for Turkey goalkeeper Volkan Demirel to receive his marching orders for an off-the-ball incident involving Koller, but his team held on to record their first win over the Czechs in 12 attempts.

Group B winners Croatia now lie in wait for the Turks in Vienna on Friday.

A penalty shootout loomed if the match had ended as a draw after 90 minutes but it looked long odds against that prospect the way Turkey played in the first half.

They were dreadful and looked a team gripped by nerves as they failed to trouble Cech in the opening 45 minutes.

The more experienced Czechs, semi-finalists at the Euros four years ago, looked assured from the off and should have been more than a goal ahead at the interval.

Koller, back in the starting line-up after being benched for the 3-1 defeat to Portugal, was at the hub of most of his team's attacks and he headed Marek Jankulovski's free-kick over the bar when well positioned in the 10th minute.

Turkey's Brazil-born midfielder Mehmet Aurelio had moments earlier picked up a booking which will rule him out of the quarter-final.

Marek Matejovsky, who was carried off on a stretcher in the 37th minute, drew a decent save out of Volkan while Servet Cetin made a great last-gasp clearance to prevent Koller scoring a simple tap-in.

It was one-way traffic, the ever-dangerous Libor Sionko firing just over from the diagonal in the 25th minute as the nervous Turks continued to relinquish possession.

The goal the Czechs deserved came nine minutes later, Juventus full-back Grygera galloping down the right and crossing for Koller to power home a trademark header in emphatic style from eight yards out.

That was his 55th international goal and the Nurnberg targetman, who will quit playing for his national team after the Euros, almost made it 56 when he nodded over another Jankulovski set-piece.

The Turkey players trudged off heads down at the half-time whistle and would no doubt have been given the hairdryer treatment by coach Fatih Terim in the dressing room.

Terim replaced anonymous striker Semih Senturk with midfielder Sabri Sarioglu at the interval, and the change paid dividends as the Turks began the second half well under rainy skies.

Nihat volleyed over acrobatically two minutes in while Tuncay Sanli deflected a free-kick straight at Cech.

The Czechs suddenly looked tentative but Plasil settled any nerves with their second just after the hour mark.

Moments earlier, Koller had sidefooted wastefully wide with just Volkan to beat but Osasuna midfielder Plasil did much better when he got on the end of Sionko's right-wing cross to prod home at the far post.

The goal initially took the wind out of Turkey's sails and midfielder Jan Polak almost made it 3-0 when he sidefooted Sionko's cross against the post from 10 yards.

But it was not all over. Arda set up a tense final 15 minutes when he slid home a low finish past Cech after pouncing on a Hamit Altintop centre.

And after Servet somehow headed wide from close range in the 81st minute, Cech spilled a deep cross from the right, allowing Nihat to force home the equaliser into an empty net with three minutes remaining.

Worse was to come for Cech when barely a minute later, Nihat made the most of some dreadful defending to latch on to a through-ball and curl home a superb finish off the bar.

In the final few seconds, Volkan saw red for an incident involving Koller but Turkey held on for a dramatic victory.

Greece lost their grip on the European Championship title after Konstantin Zyryanov's winner earned victory for Russia in Salzburg and knocked out the holders.

Sergei Semak's quick thinking wrongfoots Antonis Nikopolidis and gives Konstatin Zurianov the chance to score.

Otto Rehhagel's men were never given much hope of making history and becoming the first country to defend the title, and their hopes lasted two matches.

Criticised for being negative, there was at least some adventure after Zyryanov took advantage of woeful goalkeeping from Antonis Nikopolidis - but it was too little, too late.

Andrei Arshavin's return from suspension now comes at the perfect time for Guus Hiddink, with victory over Sweden needed on Wednesday in Innsbruck to reach the quarter-finals.

Before this match the sounds coming from Rehhagel and Greece were that they wanted to attack, and their formation suggested as much, with the ultra-defensive sweeper system giving way for a flat back four.

But it was impossible to throw caution to the wind when Russia had the ball and looked to attack down the flanks.

Roman Pavlyuchenko, whose goals defeated England last October, had recovered from an adductor muscle strain and stretched Greece's defence at Stadion Wals-Siezenheim, following Hiddink's tactics to the letter.

Russia's pressure was almost rewarded in the 14th minute when Zyryanov robbed Angelos Basinas as the Greece skipper dwelt on the ball.

Diniyar Bilyaletdinov worked the ball out to Pavlyuchenko, who saw his curling lob tipped over by Nikopolidis as it angled towards the top corner.

Greece's threats predictably came from set-plays, with Basinas curling a trademark free-kick into the danger zone but Angelos Charisteas could not get a head on the perfect delivery or on Igor Semshov's clumsy resulting clearance that went just wide.

The opener came for Russia after 33 minutes, gifted by Nikopolidis.

Bilyaletdinov was fed by Dmitri Torbinski on the left and his cross looked harmless as it drifted to the far post but Nikopolidis followed the ball, allowing enough time for Sergei Semak to hook the ball back into the six-yard area where Zyryanov could not miss. Hiddink punched the air in delight.

With momentum on their side, Pavlyuchenko had a couple of efforts off target, failing to test whether Nikopolidis' error had affected him.

Greece's response was to take off Giourkas Seitaridis, who appeared to take a knock after a challenge from Torbinski, and bring on playmaker Giorgos Karagounis, who was booked shortly after for a foul.

They should have been level 40 seconds after the restart but Charisteas, the hero of 2004, looked shocked to be given onside and his finish was no better than his effort in the first half.

Pavlyuchenko then had a hat-trick of chances to put the game beyond Greece but Nikopolidis saved twice when he cut in from either flank. On the third attempt his finish went wide of the near post.

The wastefulness of the Russia striker sparked Greece into life and Karagounis stung the palms of Igor Akinfeev with a fierce shot, Nikos Liberopoulos had a header tipped over and Basinas flashed over when the ball had been cut back.

Russia's tactic was now to counter-attack, and one flowing move resulted in Pavlyuchenko backheeling intelligently for Bilyaletdinov - but the finish was dragged wide.

Bilyaletdinov also had a shot blocked by Sotiris Kyrgiakos after Nikopolidis fumbled.Charisteas showed no signs of his confidence returning and his penultimate effort was a header from a corner that Akinfeev saved easily.

The striker had the ball in the net with five minutes remaining but play had been called back for an offside against Fanis Gekas, who had come on to bolster Greece's attack.

David Villa was again Spain's hero as his injury-time goal earned Luis Aragones' men a last-gasp win over Sweden in the battle between the top two teams in Group D in Innsbruck.

David Villa
David Villa celebrates his late winner

Fernando Torres put this week's controversies behind him as he fired Spain ahead in the 15th minute but Zlatan Ibrahimovic levelled things up in the 34th minute with a goal that looked to have earned Sweden a share of the points.

That was until Villa, who scored a hat-trick in Spain's 4-1 win over Russia on Tuesday, struck right at the death to put his side on the brink of the quarter-finals. The in-form Spanish, now undefeated in 18 games, quickly settled into their passing game and were soon probing the Sweden defence for frailties. However, apart from an Andres Iniesta shot that went high and wide and a moment of danger when David Silva got in behind the Sweden defence before being closed down, Lars Lagerback's side were able to deal with the early Spanish threat. Sweden's success lasted just 15 minutes though before they found themselves a goal down thanks to a well-worked Spain corner. Xavi played a low ball in towards the front post for Villa, who in turn found Valencia club-mate Silva on the edge of the box and his cross back in towards the six-yard box was stabbed home by the stretching Torres. That was only the second goal Torres has scored for his country since 2006 and was the perfect response after a week of speculation suggesting he had had a rift with coach Aragones following his early second-half substitution against Russia. It had been largely all Spain up until that point, but Sweden proved there were two teams in the contest as they almost fashioned an immediate equaliser to Torres' goal. Veteran forward Henrik Larsson cleverly slipped Johan Elmander through on the right of the area, but the Toulouse forward smashed his shot into the side-netting with only Iker Casillas to beat. Larsson had a chance of his own in the 22nd minute after being fed by strike-partner Ibrahimovic, but the 36-year-old's attempted lob over Casillas sailed over the crossbar. Ibrahimovic, widely regarded as Sweden`s chief threat, had been well-marshalled by the Spain backline but the Inter Milan striker showed his class as he drew his side level 11 minutes before half-time. The giant striker raced onto a deep cross from Fredrik Stoor, brought the ball under control and, just as it appeared as though the chance might be lost, he held off the challenge of Sergio Ramos before sliding a low shot past Casillas. That was Ibrahimovic's second goal of the tournament following his superb effort against Greece and saw him move to within one of Spain striker Villa. Like Ibrahimovic, Villa had also been fairly quiet, but the hat-trick hero against Russia brought a save out of Andreas Isaksson in the 37th minute with a 20-yard volley. Sweden suffered a setback at half-time when Ibrahimovic, who had been an injury doubt leading up to the game due to a knee problem, failed to re-appear for the second half, with Markus Rosenberg taking his place. Rosenberg had little opportunity to impress in the first 15 minutes of the second half though as the two teams cancelled each other out, and in a bid to shake things up Spain boss Aragones opted to make a double change on the hour-mark with Cesc Fabregas and Santi Cazorla sent into action. Soon after their introduction Spain had a great chance to take the lead as the Sweden goal survived three near misses in quick succession. First Silva's shot was parried by Isaksson, who then did well to bravely block the follow-up from Villa. The ball was still alive though and, with Isaksson out of position, Torres looked set to slot into an empty net only to see his effort deflected for a corner. Spain were starting to get the upper hand and Isaksson was again called into action in the 67th minute, diving full length to turn away Marcos Senna's 25-yard drive. Sweden enjoyed a rare chance in 78th minute when a deep Anders Svensson free-kick cleared the Spain defence and found Petter Hansson at the far post, but the centre-back put his volley across the face of goal. Spain piled forward in the closing stages in search of the winning goal, but when Isaksson saved Torres' low shot in the 89th minute it looked as though the Swedes would be taking a hard-earned point. However, Villa had other ideas and he raced onto a Joan Capdevila long ball forward, skipped inside Hansson before coolly slotting home past Isaksson for the winner.

Crevolt!!

Rampant Holland produced an attacking masterclass for the second time in four days to bury France in Bern and seal their qualification for the quarter-finals of Euro 2008.

Dirk Kuyt opened the scoring and Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder added others after the break as Marco van Basten's in-form team sank the French in the same way they did world champions Italy here on Monday.

Les Bleus' consolation came through Thierry Henry on his return to the team, but even their revered defence could not handle the pace and brio of their opponents' attacks.

France meet Italy on Tuesday but they both may be eliminated if Romania, who are second in the group, defeat Holland on the same night.

The Dutch, meanwhile, will now have to cope with the tag of tournament favourites after disposing of the two World Cup finalists of 2006 in sensational style, scoring seven goals in the process.

They were bound to feel at home given the army of Oranje fans who had invaded Bern city centre during the day and then the Stade de Suisse Wankdorf in the evening.

Their confidence was also sky high after their stunning victory over the Italians, and Kuyt's opener after only eight minutes helped them settle.

It was a simple goal of the kind France rarely concede, Rafael van der Vaart sending a corner in from the right and Kuyt beating Florent Malouda in the air to head home at the near post.

France coach Raymond Domenech, who had reverted to a 4-2-3-1 formation in bringing Patrice Evra, Sidney Govou and fit-again Henry back into the side, would have been alarmed at the defending for the goal.

Just as alarming for him would have been the confident swagger that had returned to the Dutch team, whose slick passing game was a joy to watch.

They were posing all sorts of problems early on, Sneijder firing just over in the 15th minute and then Kuyt poking a shot over the bar when free in the area after he pounced on a weak Lilian Thuram header.

France had been criticised back home for their laboured performance against Romania in Zurich but they upped the tempo here and created a host of half-chances in the final 20 minutes of the half.

Their first sight of goal came when Govou's near-post effort drew an excellent instinctive save out of Edwin van der Sar.

Three more opportunities fell to the French in the space of a few minutes - Malouda, Govou and Franck Ribery all bringing decent stops out of van der Sar with low drives.

Henry curled wide from 20 yards with the last opportunity of the half but at the start of the second period, he thought he had earned his side a penalty.

Govou's driven cross-shot was deflected into his path and the Barcelona striker's goalbound effort was blocked by the hand of Andre Ooijer.

Referee Herbert Fandel was obviously unsighted and only gave a corner, much to the chagrin of the French.

Henry had an immediate chance to exact his revenge but having been put clean through in the 53rd minute by Malouda's spectacular pass, the former Arsenal skipper sent his lob way over.

His profligacy was punished on the hour mark when two of Holland's second-half substitutes, Robben and van Persie, combined to put the Dutch further ahead.

The goal originated from some sublime skills by Ruud van Nistelrooy on the touchline and his Real Madrid team-mate Robben took the ball on.

His perfect cross from the left found van Persie, whose volley crept over the line despite the best efforts of France goalkeeper Gregory Coupet.

Henry finally got his goal in the 70th minute when he glanced home a cross from the right from Willy Sagnol but, within seconds, Robben restored Holland's two-goal cushion.

The left-winger ran onto Sneijder's through-ball down the left channel, won himself half a yard against Thuram and drove home a powerful drive from a narrow angle into the roof of the net.

The impressive van Nistelrooy almost got himself on the scoresheet with seven minutes left with an impudent header, but it was clawed out by Coupet.

It was left for Sneijder to add garnish, his superb curling shot from 25 yards giving Coupet no chance.

Italy live to fight another day at the European Championships thanks to a late penalty save from goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon against Romania.

Adrian Mutu of Romania scores the opening goal against Italy.

Fiorentina striker Adrian Mutu had put the Romanians in front in the 57th minute only for Christian Panucci to equalise straight away for the world champions, who suffered a 3-0 humiliation to Holland in their opening Group C game.Panucci then brought Daniel Niculae down five minutes from time to concede the penalty, but Mutu's effort from the spot was saved by Buffon.

The result means that Italy must now win their last game against France on Tuesday to stand any chance of progressing.

Italy did feel hard done by the officials, especially after Norwegian referee Tom Henning ruled out Luca Toni's goal on the stroke of half-time for offside.

Italy coach Roberto Donadoni made five changes to the starting line-up but it failed to inspire the Azzurri, who are still winless after two games.

Fabio Grosso, Giorgio Chiellini, Simone Perrotta, Daniele De Rossi and Alessandro Del Piero all started.

Among those omitted were World Cup winners Marco Materazzi and Gennaro Gattuso, who looked sluggish in Bern on Monday.

The Italians, severely criticised after their flat display against the Dutch, showed a sense of urgency from the start and almost broke the deadlock in the eighth minute.

Del Piero's close-range header from Perrotta's cross went just wide of the near post.In the 15th minute, Romania should have gone in front but Mutu's left-footed strike from the edge of the area was parried away by Buffon.

At the other end, Toni latched onto Grosso's cross but his header went high over the bar.

Buffon was then forced to fully stretch to clear Gabriel Tamas' free-kick towards the far post.

Italy almost fell behind in the 19th minute, with Cristian Chivu's free-kick deflected by Panucci but rebounding off the far post, with Buffon already beaten.

Romania were forced to make their first substitution midway through the first half with Dica replacing the injured Mirel Radoi.

Italy showed more determination and twice had the opportunity to take the lead but both Del Piero and Toni headed wide.

Romania goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont made a one-handed save to deny Toni's header from Del Piero's corner having previously anticipated Giorgio Chiellini inside the box.Disaster soon struck for Italy after the break. Gianluca Zambrotta's back header towards Buffon was intercepted by a determined Mutu, who fired past the goalkeeper.

It did not take long for Donadoni's men to hit back.

Chiellini latched onto Del Piero's corner and headed towards the far post where an unmarked Panucci fired into the back of the net.

The goal inspired the Italians, who surged forward more aggressively but failed to find the finishing touch.

In the 73rd minute, Grosso made a vital tackle on substitute Banel Nicolita as he threatened to break clear.

At the other end, Lobont made a spectacular save from De Rossi's flying header.

Italy continued to surge forward but their efforts to clinch their first win on Swiss soil proved no avail.

And they have Buffon to thank for keeping their Euro 2008 hopes alive, after he kept out Mutu's late penalty with an agile save which saw the ball rebound off hand and foot before heading out for a corner.

Susan and Bruce have moved their family to Chicago to try to find a different, unique sense of community that they haven't felt yet. Little do they know, they've stepped into the world of swingers and the American sexual revolution.

Austria veteran Ivica Vastic levelled three minutes into injury time to earn a point against Poland after English referee Howard Webb awarded a controversial penalty.

Marek Saganowski shoots as Roger Guerreiro (#20) lurks to score his goal.

Roger Guerreiro's first goal for his country looked to have given Poland a win against the Euro 2008 co-hosts Austria in Vienna.

Guerreiro, the Brazil-born playmaker, took advantage of an offside flag not appearing, another decision from the English officials that will cause debate.

Josef Hickersberger's side will not be happy with the team led by Webb, despite being given a way back into the game.

Notwithstanding another little-known UEFA interpretation of the laws, Guerreiro looked offside when he tapped in his first for his adopted country. Television pundits also suggested as much at the interval.

Before the opener, the focus had been on how Austria did not open the scoring rather than Webb and his assistants. They picked up where they left off against Croatia, attacking in numbers and applying pressure.

With his club manager Gordon Strachan at the ground as a pundit, Celtic goalkeeper Artur Boruc made three early saves that kept Poland level.

Two were from Martin Harnik, who firstly latched onto a Marcin Wasilewski backpass and raced through, only for Boruc to deny him with an instinctive save using his feet, diverting the ball just past the upright.

Umit Korkmaz then weaved his way down the left before crossing for Harnik, with Boruc initially diving the wrong way but then using his feet to save, before showing great presence of mind to kick away when Michal Zewlakow passed back to him.

Poland's defence was fragile and exposed again with a ball over the top - and Boruc this time had to deny Christoph Leitgeb.

The Austrians were playing with confidence, spurred on by a home crowd, belying their world ranking of 92nd and looking the more likely to score.

Inevitably, Poland grabbed the opener totally against the run of play, on the half-hour mark.

Euzebiusz Smolarek swung the ball over from left to right, Marek Saganowski checked back and his deflected shot fell into the path of Guerreiro, who tapped in as the flag stayed down.

Jacek Krzynowek then had a couple of efforts from long range as Poland gathered momentum.

It continued after the interval as well, with Smolarek having a 25-yard shot saved.

Austria's efforts were more speculative as Webb turned down a woeful penalty appeal when Andreas Ivanschitz dived in the area without a touch from Pawel Golanski, who had come on at the break for Mariusz Jop.

Leitgeb then tried to catch out Boruc with a 45-yard free-kick but the effort sailed over.

Webb took 56 minutes before reaching for his pocket. Korkmaz was the player who received the yellow card for his trip on Saganowski as the winger checked back from the right byline.

Krzynowek also picked up a booking for having a shot after the whistle had blown, then Wasilewski was carded for pushing away Korkmaz.

Jurgen Macho was having a quiet time in goal for Austria but the former Chelsea stopper was called into action in the 63rd minute when he denied Jacek Bak at close range after Guerreiro had found him unmarked with a cross to the far post.

Krzynowek then had a powerful free-kick tipped over the bar by Macho when he tried his luck from 35 yards.

To compound Austria's problems, Sebastian Prodl was booked and will miss their final game of the group stages.

Austria brought on veteran Vastic for inspiration and he got his chance from 12 yards when Mariusz Lewandowski held Prodl as Poland defended a free-kick.

Who joins Croatia from Group B will now go down to the wire.
